When I was younger cats were my favorite animal, second only to horses. As the years went on and my family bought Old English Sheepdogs (best breed in my mind after those guys) I started becoming what is known as a "dog-person" and didn't think that I could want cats again. After having two dogs with big personalities the thought of cats seemed boring. Why would I want an animal that refuses to play with you and just lies in the sun all day?
